Custom Mint Tourmaline Earrings with Diamond Accent

This beautiful pair of green Tourmaline earrings are modern with a historical past. We made these earrings, but the framework was repurposed from a vintage 1950s watch bracelet, in the era of Diamond cocktail watches where the ornate bracelets wrapped the wrists of elegant ladies around the globe. When these watches fell out of style or quit working, it was up to jewelers like us to fix them or repurpose them, which we did here by upcycling the links into creative mountings for the mint green gems. The Tourmalines are bezel set below the Diamond accented foliate design for an elegant stud earring which drops slightly below the ear lobe.
