Estate 14k Hot Air Balloon Jewelry with Rock Crystal & Red Spinel

The sky was truly the limit of this jeweler’s creativity when they made this wonderful hot air balloon pendant & earring set. The jewels, crafted in solid 14k yellow gold, are set with custom carved rock crystal Quartz which has been frosted to mimic the appearance of the hot air balloon material. The basket of each balloon, also gold, is set with a pear shaped natural pink-red Spinel- exceptionally vivid “jedi Spinels” that are old-stock Burma material. These are sizable pieces with sizable gems- the pendant is 1.5 inches long! The pendant is accented with a flag on top, which hides the bail, and the earrings have a plain top with a post behind the rock crystal. Despite the weight, the earrings are comfortable to wear and the pendant sits beautifully on the neck- a wonderful estate jewelry set. Note- this is sold as a set only.
