This beautiful unisex ring came to us by way of an Alaskan estate, and features authentic Alaskan gold nuggets inlaid into the ring. As the story goes, the owner had a stream on their property from which they would pan for gold nuggets. Most were sold for income, but some were used in jewelry for the family. This ring predated the nuggets -in fact the center Diamond is old European cut and looks turn of the century to us- but the nuggets were added in the 1960s. The central Euro Diamond is just under 1/2ct in size, set into a white gold bezel which rests in the center of the domed gold ring- these are known as “gypsy rings” in the trade. The Diamond is bright and white, which contrasts against the nuggets on either side. It would make a great ladies right-hand ring or gents pinky ring.
