These earrings were designed for that glamorous era, when fashion and hair styles were changing and long elegant earrings were all the rage. These particular earrings are some of the best we have seen. Crafted in gleaming platinum, they are encrusted with icy white old European Cut Diamonds of top quality. For contrast, a river of calibre-cut onyx flows from top to bottom. Calibre cutting was a custom process by which each piece of Onyx was custom cut and shaped to fit this particular design seamlessly. The earrings are hinged in two places, so they dance and sway as the wearer moves, creating that distinctive Jazz Age seduction we look for in Art Deco pieces. These earrings are signed, as would be expected with this quality, but the signature is partially obliterated so we cannot determine the maker.
