This fabulous pendant is set with an unusual “Rose Zircon.” This color is impossible to describe without seeing it in person- the jewelry industry calls these gemstones “rose,” the color is technically a purplish pink, but it also has hints of blush- I have photographed it in different lighting to help show it off. Think of your favorite makeup color, darken it a few shades, and that’s what you have here- and it’s one of the reasons it looks so great on so many people. This particular gem was mined from the newer sources in east Africa and cut by our Sri Lankan lapidary into a round brilliant shape that helps the color come alive. We chose this modern halo mounting since it surrounds the gem with white Diamonds, giving the gem a neutral framework to pop from, and a nice Diamond bail that draws the eye into the gem. This is certainly one of our favorite pendants, and due to the versatility of the color and massive amount of sparkle, we are sure it will become one of yours too!
