We often say that true gems look fake, and this Opal is proof: this photo has NOT been altered- the Opal just looks that good. This gem was faceted on top, like a rose cut Diamond, so that the color pattern typical in an Opal is magnified and sparkly. We crafted this mounting to frame the Opal with neutral diamond accents, then put black enamel on the metal holding the opal, which provides a contrast to make the color in the opal pop.
