Product Description
Flower power! 1960’s artists and jewelers had a love of all things floral and organic- materials, forms, etc. This ring is a mid-century masterpiece, where organic freeform goldwork, resplendent with leaves and vines holds a large Pearl. The glorious gem -a baroque Keshi pearl- measures 3/4 inch long! It features a white lustre with hints of cream, pink and green which appear in the curves of the Pearl’s uneven surface. The goldsmith was a master, in that the mounting perfectly molds to the Pearl making this a work of harmony that is beautiful to hold and comfortable to wear despite its weight and size. Two round Diamonds are tucked into the mounting to add sparkle and another texture to the otherwise muted design. This is an intriguing ring and one that reminds us of all the best things that the late 60’s had to offer. Complimentary sizing to fit.
Details: heavy 14k yellow gold freeform ring set with baroque Keshi Pearl and .06ct Diamond accents (SI2 IJ), circa 1960s.
