Art Nouveau Floral Enamel, Pearl & Diamond Necklace

This fabulous Art Nouveau necklace started it’s life as a watch pin. As ladies are wearing fewer lapel watches we decided to convert this into a more wearable necklace such that someone can better enjoy this piece. This necklace features some of the most impressive enamel work we have ever seen! The 14k yellow gold necklace is covered on every surface with glass enamel which is original to the piece and shows only the most minor wear or loss. We think the floral design represents a calla lily (or water lily) leaves and tendrils which are imbued with various shades of green, pink and rose’ enamel. Is is then interspersed with Pearls and a Diamond accent to polish off the piece. It sits horizontally on the neck measuring almost 1.5 inches across, so it makes a sizable statement for an antique piece, while maintaining its finesse. The bails that hold the chain are hidden on the back and can accommodate any size chain- it is shown here in the complimentary display gold-plated chain.

Details: 14k yellow gold antique necklace with .03ct old Mine Cut Diamond and seed Pearls with multicolored enamel accent, circa 1905. Some patina present, minor wear and enamel loss.
