This gorgeous custom made pendant was sourced from the estate of a local rock-hound and gemstone collector. It is set with a large, crystalline and beautiful Ellensburg Blue Agate- the rarest gemstone mined in Washington, and one of the most beautiful Agates found anywhere! This particular gem is notable for several reasons- it is larger than most, has very even color distribution, and a deep periwinkle color that is quite scarce. It was set into this custom made pendant, wrapped in a gold bezel which is suspended from a hinged bail. The bail is bezel set with a sizable Diamond of fine quality. This piece is signed on the reverse “Sandi” by the talented jeweler who created this piece. Ellensburg Blue is quite rare, as it is not actively mined but is actively collected by many in our state- so this is a great opportunity for someone (either a rock collector, Agate fan, or Ellensburg/CWU alum) to pick up a piece at an estate case bargain price.
