Product Description
Blue Zircon was the darling of 1940’s jewelry designers. They loved the neon color, huge sparkle factor, and affordable price which made it one of the gems of choice in the care-free post war years. This one is a perfect example: the Zircon is cut into an unusual emerald cut shape which helps the gem keep a deeper tone than most, and it catches the light with huge flashes. It is flanked by two round Diamond accents, each set in white gold, and all three gems are set into a classic retro-era yellow gold three stone ring that has been recently restored, such that another generation can enjoy it. Whether you like the intense teal blue color, or have a December birthstone, or simply want a gorgeous Zircon ring- this is a great example, bargain priced.
Details: 14k two tone three stone ring with 4.75ct emerald cut Blue Zircon (heat treated, Cambodian) and .10ct single cut Diamond accents (SI IJ), circa 1945.
