The vintage style gold ring is set in the center with a 3/4ct oval natural Paraiba Tourmaline. This is what’s called an African Paraiba, since it was mined in Mozambique instead of the first deposit in Brazil. No matter where it came from, the color is classic: neon bluish green that glows in the dark! The closest color descriptor for this color is mint, but this Tourmaline is more intense than mint Tourmalines from other sources due to trace amounts of copper in the gem (thus these are sometimes sold under the name cuprian Tourmaline). Either way, this fabulous Paraiba has found a home in this vintage styled filigree ring set with Diamonds. Despite the smaller size, this ring packs a punch, and is the most affordable Paraiba we have had to offer.
