The gold ring is crafted in a crossover design, one leg set with round Diamonds, the other in polished gold. At their apex is set a trillion Tanzanite, just shy of 1ct, with a medium-dark blue violet hue. It is faceted into a trillion, also known as the Tanzanite cut, since the trillion brings out the purple and red flashes within the blue gem. This gem has a pleasing depth of color with great brightness in direct sunlight, as shown in the third photo.
