Huge Kingman Turquoise & Diamond Pendant set in Gold

While Turquoise is common in the silver jewelry of the American southwest, it also has a place in fine jewelry, so we decided to make this pendant with a nod to the vintage Turquoise pieces we love but with a more classic profile. The center stone is a large Turquoise cabochon measuring over 1.25 inches long. This is a natural Turquoise from the Kingman mine- it is untreated but is fixed onto an onyx backing for durability- and has a depth of color and lustre not often seen in southwest pieces. The robin’s egg blue color is fantastic and has lovely black veining running through the gem- this color and veining is all natural, not treated or stabilized. Sitting above the Turquoise is a trio of bezel set natural Diamonds and a classic yellow gold bail which combine to add sparkle to the piece. This lovely pendant could easily be interchanged with gold jewelry and silver turquoise pieces- we imagine it worn over a sweater or jacket. Fab!
