Vintage Hot Pink Tourmaline & Diamond Ring

This fabulous vintage ring is set with a substantial cushion-cut pink Tourmaline. This natural Tourmaline is a “berry juice” shade of reddish pink; almost Rubellite Tourmaline in color. As with most Tourmalines, this gem does have some inclusions but they are not visible to the naked eye, and they do not impact the brilliance of the gem. The color is the most important factor here, and this pink Tourmaline is beautiful! Despite the larger size of the Tourmaline, it is set as low as possible and secured with 8 prongs such that it is comfortable and practical to wear. The gem is flanked by two Diamonds on either side in a hand-made basket style setting dating to the mid-century period. If you want to be pretty in pink, this may be the perfect ring for you!
