Freeform Gents Ring with Black Star Sapphire & Diamonds

This groovy vintage gents ring is a staff favorite. The yellow gold setting was custom made, then studded with gemstones. Instead of a single gem or mass of Diamonds taking center stage, with this ring the design as a whole makes an impact. The yellow gold is freeform styled to look like molten lava, or undersea coral. A black Star Sapphire is off-set, the golden 6-ray star picks up the gold hues of the metal. A smattering of white Diamonds are set flush into the gold around the Sapphire. While the setting is irregular, the design has a cohesive feel that is very cool- all while being low profile and comfortable to wear. This was made in the 1970s as a man’s ring but could certainly be worn by a woman looking for a chunkier gold ring- it is easily sizable.
