Product Description
This Art Deco ring is made in the bombe style, popular in the 1930’s, where the top of the ring is slightly domed then encrusted with diamonds in a circular spoke design. Each diamond is individually set then the spokes of the wheel are milgrained which adds a vintage feel to the piece. The diamonds are transitional rounds, which means that they were cut before the modern brilliant had been perfected, but are more symmetrical and without the open culet of an older European cut. We love to explain the history behind our items such that our clients can better understand the process we go through in dating, authenticating, and pricing our inventory.
Details: 14k white gold ring with .40ct transitional cut diamond (VS2 G) and .52ct diamond accents, circa 1935.
