A classic diamond buying problem is how to get a larger look without sacrificing in diamond quality. In this case, we found a 2 carat stone that is an SI2 J, but not all SI2 diamonds are the same. There is a scale of what types of inclusions can be graded SI2, so we looked at several stones until we found one where the imperfection was colorless and hidden to the side of the stone. The end result is a diamond that looks clean to the naked eye, is well cut, and sparkles like crazy. Every woman’s dream!
