Amazing Mid Century Aquamarine Cocktail Ring in Yellow Gold

This is an exceptional Aquamarine cocktail ring. The central 6ct Aquamarine in this ring is unusual- it is a rich blue hue, not the light powder blue so many people expect. It is also cut into an oval shape, when most Aquamarines from the period are emerald-cut or cushion. Most Aquamarines we see are lighter blue, and then are set into white metal since yellow can easily overpower pastel hues. This Aquamarine has such fine color that it easily stands up to the 18k yellow gold setting.
