This vintage style ring features one of our rarest gemstones, and the June birthstone: natural Alexandrite. It is famous for changing color- a teal green in fluorescent or outdoor light to a raspberry red in incandescent or candle light. This particular example does a perfect strong color change that is easily visible as it moves between different light. This gem is Brazilian (where the best gems are mined) and we sourced it from an old collection, allowing us to keep the price of this ring affordable. This mounting has Diamond accents and fine milgrain work that create a cool vintage feel while keeping the focus on the center stone. Fortunately, this gem is durable enough such that it would also make a great Alexandrite engagement ring.
