This estate set was crafted sometime in the latter half of the last century by a master craftsman with an eye for detail. Each Sapphire is perfectly matched in size and color, as are the Diamonds, and each one is individually hand-set in rich yellow gold. The Sapphires are likely Thai in origin and are imbued with a rich velvety navy blue glow that contrasts nicely against the bright white Diamonds. The Diamond halos around each Sapphire are in consummate Princess Diana style which is about as timeless as it gets in fine jewelry. One of the best parts about this set is the versatility- all three pieces can be worn together on dressier occasions, but the ring can be worn alone as an everyday piece, as could the earrings. This set was recently independently appraised by our local gemological laboratory, where they determined that each Sapphire is of natural origin, the item is in excellent condition, and it would cost in excess of $30,000 to have it made in today’s market!
