Antique Rose Cut Diamond Rose Gold Bypass Engagement Ring

Hailing from Denmark in the first quarter of the twentieth century, this fabulous antique engagement ring shows why simple designs can still be profound. Crafted in a rich yellowish-rose gold, classic of northern Europe, the band is an old take on a bypass design, where the two arms of the ring swirl around to frame the center Diamond. The Diamond is certainly the focal point here- it is a slightly asymmetrical Rose Cut Diamond that likely predates the ring by several generations. The Diamond is perfectly imperfect, with some minor inclusions and abrasions (not eye visible) that are proof of its age. The Diamond is claw-set, yet still maintains a low profile.
