Product Description
No 1920’s outfit would be complete without a piece of Camphor Glass jewelry, like this fabulous Art Deco bracelet. The Camphor Glass, a type of frosted crystal, would be engraved then made to fit different designs, usually rectangular or oval in shape. This bracelet is unique in that it is octagonal, like a perfect little Diamond-set stop sign! The Camphor Glass is drilled then set with a round Diamond in the center and set into a white gold bezel. This is the center plaque of a 7 inch bracelet, each rectangular link made in flat white gold and engraved with Art Deco details. This piece is in remarkably good condition, showing almost no wear for its 100 years of history other than a replacement clasp, but sadly that means that any signature that would have been present has been lost. Due to the quality of the craftsmanship, it is clear that the bracelet was made by a fine American maker and thus would make a great addition to any Deco jewelry collection.
See last image for matching necklace sold separately.
Details: 14k white gold bracelet with octagonal Camphor glass, .02ct single cut Diamond and engraved accents, circa 1928.
