Product Description
Aquamarines do not get more perfect than this turquoise colored gem set in this fantastic original Art Deco ring. This ring was originally set with a Black Opal but a client purchased the Opal for use in a different project. Thus we set this newly sourced Aquamarine from India into the ring, and in so doing kept it close to original in terms of overall style and design ethos. The intensity of color in the Aquamarine is truly exceptional, but the most unusual aspect of this ring is the orientation. Most Deco rings were “dinner rings” designed to elongate the finger, thus this east-west version is unusual and rare. The die struck ring is complete with intricate white gold filigree work which is mimicked in the stunning faceting of the center Aquamarine. This would make a fab engagement ring or perfect birthstone ring for a March baby and collector of the Art Deco era.
Details: 18k white gold ring set with 2.24ct oval Aquamarine (Indian, AAA quality) and accented with filigree work, mount circa 1925.
