Circa 1925, this platinum and Diamond ring has graced the hands of multiple generations of classy ladies who loved this Art Deco design. The jewelers of this era loved symmetry and geometry, hence the square frame in which the round Diamond is set, the stair stepped Diamonds accenting the center stone, and the architectural pierced openwork on the sides of the ring. While the center diamond is not overly large- measuring 4.5mm across- it appears larger due to the old European cutting and setting style. The single cut Diamonds that grace the shoulders of the ring step up, 1, 2, 3 to the center Diamond, drawing the eye upward. The whole ring is crafted in long lasting platinum, original patina intact. This is elegant vintage engagement ring, with lots of sparkle and loads of class, sure to last another generation or two.
