Art Deco Ring with Old European Cut Diamond

Art Deco Diamond rings, like this one, are something special. They combine beautiful design with eye-pleasing symmetry and sparkle to stand out among rings from other eras. This particular ring is late Deco, circa 1930, made in white gold in a quatrefoil design; resembling a clover. The ring is set with a substantial Old European Cut Diamond in the center, with further single cut Diamonds surrounding it. The ring is in excellent condition, partly because it was masterfully designed to sit low to the hand, where it is protected and comfortable to wear. This ring is a bit of a bargain, too. The central antique Diamond grades I1 in clarity due to a couple of colorless inclusions within the gem (we call this an “eye clean I1” because you either need a loupe or superhuman eyes to see it). The upside is that you get a large natural Diamond, in a coveted Old Euro Cut, in an original Deco setting, for under $5k. This would be a wonderful antique Diamond engagement ring; or something special for a major birthday or anniversary. It is currently size 7 but easily sizable to any size.
