Art Deco Style Natural Ruby & Diamond Ring

This ring is a version of our favorite Art Deco inspired ring mount, designed for a round center stone, then encrusted with Diamonds and set with a fabulous Ruby. The white gold ring is further detailed with milgrain work around the bezels, on the edges, and around the hand carved shank- just like a ring from 1925. The center Ruby is a natural gem of beautiful stoplight red color. With Rubies, it is all about the color- some minor inclusions are expected and proof of natural origin so long as they don’t detract from the gem. This Ruby is not the pink, opaque, or lab created stone most clients are used to; no, it is a rich and regal gem that jumps off the hand and makes a big impression. The photos cannot do this Ruby justice, as red is the hardest color to capture on camera, so we have attempted to show it under various lighting conditions. This red gem would look great with other Art Deco pieces, but could also be worn as a standalone piece as a Ruby engagement ring, July birthstone ring, etc.
