Art Deco Style Ring with Burmese Ruby & Diamonds

This stunning ring was made by us in faithful Art Deco style, designed to accentuate and support the top-gem Ruby set in its center. The few original Deco rings that we see set with colored gems tend to be set with super-fine stones; it was an era of excess when only the best would do. When we came across this Ruby, we knew it could punch with the finest, and made this Deco mounting to suit it. The Ruby is true pigeon blood red- a deep, pure red, and from the rare Burma Ruby mines. It is perfectly cut into the coveted round shape, but not too deep, which makes it appear larger to the eye and causes the red hues to flash from within the gem. The Ruby is nestled into a white gold mount that is encrusted with white Diamonds which give the gem a neutral backdrop from which to sparkle. The ring has the practical wearability of low profile designs without sacrificing detail and shine. This would make an amazing Ruby engagement ring but could easily be worn on the right hand as a birthstone or anniversary ring. If you’re looking for the finest Ruby, this is it.
