Asscher Cut Santa Maria Aquamarine Engagement Ring

This stunning Aquamarine ring features one of the finest natural Aquamarines we have ever come across. The heavy platinum setting was custom made by us, featuring a trapezoid Diamond on either side of the Aquamarine and a European shank: a modern take on the 3-stone ring design. The star of the show is the Aquamarine center stone, which is faceted into a square emerald cut (also known as Asscher cut) with beautiful luster. This gem was sourced out of an old collection of Brazilian Aquamarines, so we can truly say that this is a “Santa Maria Aquamarine” from the fabled Brazilian mines which have long since stopped producing. While many Aquamarines come close to this color, none rival the true Santa Maria Aquas which are a deep azure blue with no modifying colors. This ring was made to feature the Aquamarine, as such it could easily be worn as an engagement ring or on the right hand.
