This amazing bi-color teal Sapphire hails from the land down under where they are known as “parti-colour Sapphires.” The sizable round gem is an even split between dark blue and golden yellow which blend together to make an enchanting teal hue. The cutter who faceted this gem oriented it perfectly, such that the green is dominant, yet as the gem is rotated the blue and yellow flashes appear. We chose to set this Sapphire in a 3-stone style ring using trillion natural light yellow Sapphires as accent gems, and they serve to contrast against the intense center gem. This one-of-a-kind ring would make a great Sapphire engagement ring but would look great on the right hand too!
