Burma Red Spinel Ring in Vintage Inspired Mounting

Burmese Red Spinel rivals fine Ruby at a more attractive price point, when you can find it. We sourced this natural Spinel more than five years ago and since that time access to natural red Spinel has gotten even harder, with decreased production and increasing demand. Due to its beauty and rarity, we felt that this gem deserved to be set, and we chose this Art Deco inspired ring for the occasion. The ring is navette shaped, intricately segmented with milgrain work and set with Diamond accents surrounding the cushion center stone. The ring shank is unadorned, allowing the focus to stay on the top of the ring where ornate vintage detailing and the Spinel take center stage. The Spinel is a deep red color, with hints of purple in natural light- the effect is not to look pink, but instead to look a rich, merlot-wine red. Regal!
