Cartier Tank Wrist Watch- 18k Gold Plated, Mechanical

This classic Cartier tank wrist watch is a wonderful estate find. The tank style case measures 30.5mm long x 26.3mm wide (with the sapphire crown) and can be worn as a man’s dress watch or lady’s everyday watch. The watch is in excellent condition, and has been serviced to keep accurate time. The back of the case has been personalized- see photo- the front of the watch is the classic white dial with Roman numerals. The watch is displayed on an aftermarket leather watch band but comes with the original Cartier buckle. This watch was made in 1977, just before the more affordable “Must de Cartier” line was introduced. As such, it has the lower cost 18k-gold plated case of the later Must de Cartier watches, but it has the fully-signed Cartier mechanical movement which is so highly prized in the earlier solid-gold versions. This is a great watch at a great entry level price point.
