Ceylon Cornflower Blue Sapphire & Diamond Stud Earrings

These fabulous oval Blue Sapphires were recently acquired from our favorite Sri Lankan lapidary, Anura, cut and mined in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). It is so hard to find a perfect matched pair of Sapphires, as there are many subtle differences in cut and color between each gem. This pair is exactly the same size, shape and hue, only appearing different when the light hits one different than the other. It doesn’t get much better, especially when the color is this saturated yet not-too-dark cornflower blue hue. Gemmy! These are set in classic Diamond accented stud mountings which add some sparkle, but are still comfortable for everyday wear. These Sapphires are substantial enough to add that blue accent to your wardrobe, but not so large as to dominate, each stone measuring 6.5×5.5mm.
