Classic Pink Spinel & Diamond Pendant

This Spinel is a deep magenta pink from Burma, unlike the lighter or orange toned gems that are more available from Tanzania. It features a rich pink color, incredible brilliance, near perfect cutting- what more could we want? It is so spectacular that we chose to set it simply, with only a Diamond and rose gold as an accent, to allow the rare Spinel to take center stage. This pendant is a great example of why Spinels have long been the darlings of gem collectors. They have a beauty and brilliance that is unparalleled, and are more affordable than their Sapphire cousins. While little known before, they have recently been recognized as an August birthstone so we are excited to see them become more popular in the future!
