Classic Top Grade Aquamarine & Diamond Pendant

This pendeloque style pendant is set with a fabulous azure-blue pear shape Aquamarine of top quality. The now-defunct Brazilian Aquamarine mines used to set the Aquamarine bar, especially the famed “Santa Maria Aqua” material, but recent finds in East Africa are producing small amounts of equally amazing gems. Thus we call this pendant our ‘African Santa Maria’ due to its intense azure blue hue. We set this Aquamarine in white gold for a neutral backdrop, then accented it with a large round Diamond for sparkle and contrast for the cool blue gemstone. This piece has a good sized bail, such that the wearer can place it on a standard chain or something more substantial, like an Omega or rope chain. This Aquamarine necklace would make a fantastic March birthday gift, especially for the someone in your life who likes the best. Measures just over 1 inch top to bottom.
