Kyanite from Nepal is one of the rarer gemstones we carry. Normally opaque and unattractive, we spend what seems like an endless amount of time hunting town beautiful gem-quality examples to offer for sale. This is the first we have encountered that is true bicolor- the gem is colorless or blue depending the angle! The client who purchased this oddity chose to set it using rose gold prongs on an otherwise white gold setting, which is further embellished with round and princess cut Diamond accents. The mounting has a big presence on the hand and is worthy of the rare Kyanite center stone.
