This beautiful blue Sapphire ring features a fantastically cut gem with a prominent color shift. This unusual phenomenon causes the gem to appear more violet under incandescent lighting and a pure cobalt blue outdoors. Most of the time it looks like the classic Ceylon Sapphire you’d imagine. To enhance this rich color, our owner chose to set it in a custom mounting that uses white Diamonds for neutral sparkle and yellow Diamonds for contrast. The entire ring has been perfected- the sides are set with Diamonds under the Sapphire (a treat only for the wearer) and the bottom is hand carved with vintage styling. While the end result certainly makes a statement, the whole ring sits low on the hand and would be comfortable to wear on a daily basis.
