Custom Blue-Violet Black Opal Galaxy Swirl Ring

Black Opals are coveted in our store- they are quite rare, and each one is a unique gem with its own personality. In the last 20 years these gems have gotten more rare and the blue-violet hue has become the most requested, so we have a hard time keeping these in stock. This ring was designed such that the swirls of white gold on the shank of the ring mimic the kaleidoscope of galactic color within the Opal itself. The Opal has a jet-black body color with predominantly blue play of color, with hints of teal and violet at some angles. The color pattern is both flagstone and broad-flash, resulting in an impressive array of cool tones on the hand. The mounting holds the sizable Opal low and protected on the hand in four sturdy white gold prongs, and features bezel set Diamonds studded amongst the swirls of the ring. Both the deep black of the Opal, the violet play of color, and swirling design are like looking into the depth of a galaxy far, far away. Stunning!
