This “out of this world” mens’ ring was designed as a right hand ring, but could equally be used as a man’s engagement ring- a growing trend that we support! In this one, the client used an heirloom Diamond (his grandpa’s 1.50ct round Diamond) to create a modern accessory. The ring was CAD designed in white gold, and then natural Meteorite (yes, from outer space!!) was inlaid into the sides for an interesting contrast. The Meteorite is iron, with lots of cool metallic texture, which gives the piece a grey tone takes away some of the shininess of the gold. The design of the ring plays with angles, repeated in the metallic composition of the Meteorite, to draw the eye toward the Diamond. The end product is handsome and meaningful, the perfect combo.
