This amazing custom snake ring is one of the coolest gents rings we have made in a long time! One of our favorite clients, known for bringing us unusual projects, came to us with his favorite belt buckle and wanted it turned into a wedding band. We carved a wax mold by hand to this smaller scale, which the client was able to view and approve. Originally the design was made to feature only metal work, but it became obvious that the eyes needed more, so the client chose these neon green Demantoid garnets. The goldsmith used texture work for the scales and other details, and finished off the “mouth eating tail” concept. This ring was cast in palladium for a hypoallergenic final product which also gives the ring a slight grey hue. The end result is certainly one of the sleekest wedding bands we have made!
