In 2016 we purchased a collection from the estate of a family that had fled the Holocaust in 1937. These items were in their family when they were living in Germany and the Netherlands, and represented some of the wealth they brought to the United States. We are honored to be able to preserve these items and pass them to future generations who will respect their history. 

This cocktail ring is exemplar of the onyx and diamond rings that were so popular in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. Most of these rings have simple bands, set with a large piece of flat onyx and a small diamond chip as an accent. This one is much fancier- the 18k white gold is filigreed, the onyx has concave carving on the top surface, and the center diamond is large and icy white. The finished look is very Deco and looks fabulous on the hand.
