This amazing Demantoid pendant is blindingly brilliant! The center gem is the rarest form of green Garnet, known as Demantoid. This particular gem was mined from the most coveted source in Russia, and has an intense green color unrivaled in the gem world. It was cut into a round brilliant shape which is the ideal cut to show off it’s high refractive index and strong scintillation (in fact, Demantoid is named from the latin “Diamond like” due to its brilliance). We surrounded this diminutive gem with two rows of round Diamonds to give the piece a bit more pop on the neckline- and boy did it work! This pendant, while measuring only a bit over 1/2 inch in diameter, screams from a mile away!

PS- for the gem collectors out there, this Demantoid does indeed contain the coveted “horsetail inclusions” which are proof that the Demantoid is natural and Russian in origin.
