Wowza! This knuckle to knuckle engagement ring is an across-the-room show stopper. This double halo engagement ring was designed for a client who wanted this to be her forever ring. She and her fiancé, both widowed and widower, found each other several years ago and wanted a ring that represented their love, and stage of life. She had several rings from the past that she no longer wore, featuring high quality Diamonds, which she hoped to re-use as the accents in her new design. We sourced a nearly 3ct Diamond as the centerpiece of this amazing ring- it is an amazing Diamond. The GIA certified round Diamond weighs 2.86cts with a triple excellent cut rating which helps to make it sparkle like crazy. Once we had all the Diamonds we were able to proceed with the exacting design, which had to be accurate to the .01 millimeter since we were using the client’s sentimental Diamonds. We accented the shank, designed an intricate under gallery that also provides support, and then perfected the double-halo top portion (which measures almost an inch across). The top of this ring is slightly elevated, such that the client can wear a wedding band on either side and it will slip under the halo. The final product is one of the largest, and most impressive, engagement rings we have ever made!
