Edwardian Platinum & Diamond Filigree Cluster Ring

This stunning platinum & antique cut Diamond ring is a knuckle to knuckle show stopper. While most vintage cocktail rings are associated with the Art Deco period, this ring predates those by 20 years. Crafted just after the turn of the century, this ring hails from the Edwardian or Art Nouveau period. The key difference is that this ring was made by hand, using platinum wire work; before die-struck rings had been invented. The ring has a rectangular outline, set with a central cluster of Diamonds in the shape of a flower, with further Diamonds on the corners and where the shank rises to meet the top of the ring. Each Diamond is individually bezel set, allowing the ring to sit low to the finger. It is amazingly comfortable for a larger ring! It is easily sizable to any ring size and is in excellent condition.
