Edwardian Platinum over Gold Pearl & Diamond Pendant

This stunning pendant has been gracing necklines for over 100 years, proof that Pearls & Diamonds don’t go out of style. The pendant is crafted in platinum over 14k yellow gold, which was a technique used prior to the advent of white gold. It is set with cultured saltwater pearls in a white hue, each perfectly matched with great lustre. The bottom Pearls are surrounded by a Diamond frame, and the top portion has Diamond spacers and bail; all set with old European cut Diamonds of top quality. It measures 1.5 inches long, and while not highly ornate, it has been executed with finesse and it makes an elegant presentation.
