Egyptian Good Luck Gold Gem-set Scarab Pendant

We are in love with this whimsical and mystical gold Scarab pendant. Scarabs have been worn by Egyptians, and Egyptologists, for thousands of years as symbols of the Sun God, bearer of good luck and protection. While the exact age of this pendant is unknown, we suspect it was made in the Egyptian Revival period that swept the world in the 1960s-70s as King Tut’s treasures toured the globe. This pendant is solid (and heavy) 14k yellow gold, sculpted into faithful rendition of a Scarab beetle. He has cabochon blue Sapphire eyes and a line of single cut Diamonds traces his back. The unisex pendant is suspended from a wide circle bail that allows the piece to be worn on a variety of sizes and styles of chains. This would make a wonderful amulet or talisman, and can easily be worn with any outfit.
