This pearl ring is a wearable piece of flora! The ring was wax cast, which means that the maker was able to add detail to the flower in two stages- shapes and outlines in the wax mold, then finer detail work once it was cast in gold. The center of the flower is set with a 9.5mm round South Sea Pearl with a silvery white tone, which nicely contrasts against the rich yellow color of the 18k gold. The overall effect is very cool and very wearable.
