Product Description
This impressive estate bauble hails from the height of cocktail rings, circa 1965, and was inspired by the sea. Crafted in textured and heavy yellow gold, the ring is meant to look like branched coral holding a trio of top quality Pearls nestled amongst the whorls. Each pearl measures almost 9mm across in an almost round shape. These are grey cultured saltwater pearls in varying shades: from a light silvery grey, to a darker grey with peacock hues of green and purple dancing across the surface. These have amazing lustre and have been gently worn, so they are sure to capture attention on the hand. The freeform design and textured gold hearken back to the 1960’s era, but the design is pleasing and the Pearls top quality, resulting in a timeless look that is pleasing, and certainly falls in the realm of “retro cool.”
Details: 14k yellow gold freeform ring with 3 cultured saltwater off-round grey Pearls, excellent lustre, good nacre, circa 1965, 7.9g total weight.
