Product Description
This elegant Sapphire engagement ring was crafted in the mid 1930’s by the preeminent San Francisco jeweler, Granat Brothers. It is set in the center with a rich navy blue Sapphire, which has been the favorite Diamond alternative for generations. While this gem has a rich blue hue, it is not overly dark, and comes alive in sunlight- see second image. The mounting is crafted in yellow gold but the Sapphire is set in white gold prongs to keep things neutral. The thin yellow gold shank has a small triangle of white gold inlaid into the top where a small Diamond accent is set for a hint of sparkle. The white gold accents are less visible in real life than these photos suggest- on the hand, the ring gives a strong blue-and-gold impression that is stunning. This vintage Sapphire engagement ring has been fully restored to original condition by us, and comes with our full 1 year warranty.
Details: 14k yellow and white gold engagement ring with 1.27ct round Blue Sapphire (heat enhancement only) and .02ct single cut Diamond accents, signed “Granat,” circa 1935.
