For a brief period in the early 2000’s we were able to source this incredible mint colored Garnet. They became known in the trade as “Merelani mint Garnets” due to their source in Tanzania, but technically they are a green Grossular Garnet (a lighter toned Tsavorite) that derives its mint color from vanadium and chromium impurities. We have had these stones secreted away for a while and just decided that they needed to be worn and enjoyed- hence these classic earrings with Diamond accents.
