The client who designed this ring knew she wanted a Morganite, and liked halo rings, but wanted something that was a little different than rings she had seen elsewhere. We ended up making this ring for her using rose gold, set with a halo of diamonds which come to a point over the split shank. This ads some flair to an otherwise classic design, and makes the sides of the ring as interesting as the amazing gemstone on top. It is worth mentioning that this oval Morganite is perfectly cut- it has no windowing and excellent brilliance, which helps to darken the peach pink color and creates lots of sparkle.
